No more Covid curbs under Disaster Management Act after March 31, but masks to stay, says Centre

The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that there will be no need to invoke the Disaster Management Act after March 31 to enforce Covid-safety measures. All existing Covid restrictions imposed by the Centre are set to be removed on March 31. The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday, March 23, said that the Disaster Management Act will no longer be invoked for Covid-safety measures.
